Figured I'd better update this, since I haven't in quite a while. Need to upload some more pics, I have been quite busy knitting and crocheting. Just need to block a few things.

Well, my daughter didn't really like the tote I was making for her but she did choose a stitch she liked for an afghan for her car. The stitch came from a book I purchased that uses Multiples. Of course, the one she chose was printed incorrectly and so I had to figure out the Correct Multiple. Arghh! She picked out the yarn she wanted (Caron Simply Soft) in grey, teal, and black. I now have 5 rows done and it's actually looking pretty good. Will try to get pictures up soon.
I did finish an afghan, and I made it for myself instead of someone else this time. Will wonders never cease. I am really pretty darned happy with how it turned out. It's made of granny squares that started with honeycomb afghan stitch squares in five different colors. I realllllllly need to put up a picture...soon :o)
Later Dudes and Dudettes!

Today
Just a note today.
Am working on a Lion Brand Tote (hopefully for my daughter's Birthday) and also a MCAL (Mystern Crochet Along) with a crochet website I found on Facebook.
Have also crocheted a pair of socks, an afghan, several granny squares of various sorts and sizes (I think I have finally figured out which one I like the best) for an afghan.
Will take pics later.
Later <3<3

July 2010 Doilies
Hi there!
I have finished some more doilies and finally took pics of them..
The Pineapple blue doily (below) still has to be blocked for shaping, that FREE pattern is from FAVECrafts.
The Circle-in-the-Square doily from Leisure Arts', "A Year of Doilies -March," was a lot harder to do than the Pineapple blue doily. The pattern called for the outer circle and the edges to be green, but as you can see I liked purple better. I am pretty proud of this one, I think it turned out quite well.
The big cream round doily is from a pattern I got when I was getting kits from Annie's Hook & Needle Kit Club.
The filet centerpiece I am attempting to work on now... I am having a problem with reading the pattern... Guess I'll see if I can email the designer and get her help. IF I get it finished I will put a completed picture up then.
Until Next Time...
Take Care Out There,
Mary

Welcome!
Howdy to All! Welcome to my blog!
I just finished a doily that turned out pretty nicely if I do say so myself. What do you think?
I got the pattern from "A Year of Doilies" by Leisure Arts. It's called, "Tiffany" and is the doily for April.
I have now started the doily for March, "Circle-In-The-Square," and I am making it with Natural and Violet (instead of Ecru and Green). I will post a picture when I get it done.
Later,
MJ
